Not my usual topic, but with social distancing becoming an increasing necessity in these pandemic-ravaged times, I’ve started thinking about activities to do with my son. We’re all going to be spending a lot more time chez nous so here’s some ideas for having fun in the garden. There’s lots of links to some fab sites for further details and even more inspiration!

- Help with the weeding!
- Prepare and eat a picnic
- Make seed bombs for bee friendly flowers
- Have a go at sun prints
- Do the Joe Wickes’ 5-minute workout or create your own outdoor circuit
- Spot birds and bugs
- Experiment with natural paints
- Prop up some tin cans for Nerf gun target practice
